About this deal

I want a sequel now - especially about how campaigns have changed for them in the time since, as Brown gears up to run again in 2018. What a breath of fresh air as compared to all the rancid politics that are currently associated with the White House. I'm a big fan of Connie Schultz's work and of how she engages with her readers/fans on social media, particularly on her Facebook page.

If you’ve been told that believing in God provides you with an exemption from sadness and suffering, then when sadness and suffering show up, it can only be regarded as some kind of failure. Nicholas Derick Alcantara is filthy rich, incredibly good-looking , arrogant and every woman's fantasy.I purposefully sat right up front and was thrilled to be so close to such an electrifying personality. It’s hard to see where God is and what God is doing when there’s trouble in our lives, or in our world. This book was about her struggle to maintain her own identity when she is thrust into the world of a political campaign.

As an Akron girl and a political junkie, although I was familiar with Connie's work at The Cleveland Plain Dealer, I was more familiar with her lovely husband and our Ohio Senator, Sherrod Brown (D), and all the work he has done on behalf of the working and middle class folks he has served over more than 30 years in government service. For the author (and the saints he speaks for), passages like this become “a lamp to [his] feet and a light to [his] path” (Psalm 119:105).I thoroughly enjoyed walking through her life as she and her new husband navigated marriage, blended families, and dual careers whilst working tirelessly on his campaign for the United States Senate. Those who are desperate to find a few moments of respite and joy amidst these troublesome times will find this book just what they are craving. I appreciated her candor and her humanity when talking about the things that were hard, the real life issues they faced and how they approached it all holding close to their principles.

We knew it was important to be upbeat no matter how bad a week we were having, and this helped us focus on what was actually going right. PUBLISHED UNDER POP FICTION, AN IMPRINT OF SUMMIT MEDIA] One competition, one man, twenty-five women, and a bet. And the horrific nature of his circumstances, as an expression of God’s righteous judgment on Israel, remains a potent reminder that we are never in a pit so deep, and we never endure tragedies so severe, that God cannot, with a word, bring light to our path that overcomes our darkness with hope. Her narrative series “The Burden of Innocence,” which chronicled the life of a man wrongly incarcerated for rape, was a Pulitzer Prize finalist. The book is especially relevant during this 2018 campaign season as Sherrod is running for re-election.

And that same anticipation is something we should experience when we think of finally seeing our Savior face to face. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins.

Dewberry raises provocative questions about the utility of fantasy and why people obsess over celebrities. We started working with Aaron due to him mouthing his new human brother (who is only four) and chasing and biting his feet. I doubt this poet realized that these words — the words of “a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief” (Isaiah 53:3) — would so powerfully foreshadow Christ.
